Appeli explores systems, art, knowledge, and speculative design as ways to bring life back into daily living.
Every day, we are bombarded with noise, expectations, and confusing systems that cause frustration on all sides. Appeli seeks to cultivate a sense of clarity and comfort, offering moments of breath within the chaos.
Appeli’s primary focus is exploring systems and experiences from the perspective of the people actually interacting with them, while identifying confusion, friction, and opportunities for improvement. Through observation, research, and consultation, Appeli looks for practical ways businesses and organizations can create experiences that are clearer, easier, and more thoughtful.
Beyond this work, Appeli continues to explore ways of living, not just surviving, and finding creative paths to shape our present into a world we genuinely want to inhabit.
While Appeli focuses primarily on systems within the United States, many of its ideas and themes can be reinterpreted and applied on a global scale.
Behind Appeli
The brains behind the operation is Madeline Elizabeth. Her background includes a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with more than five years of experience in legal technology, operations, and project coordination and management.
Outside of her professional work, her life has always included a constantly changing mix of creative projects, interests, and areas of study. Together, these experiences shape a perspective that is both analytical and creative, allowing her to approach systems of different types and scales with curiosity, flexibility, and an eye for how they could work better.
